Who We Are

Some things we would like you to Know about our Church

1) We are a missionary Baptist Church.

2) We are a member of the Bartow Baptist Association, The Georgia Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.

3) We are the church with the Ten Commandment monument and cross facing the entrance to Dellinger Park.

4) We want you to come and worship with us.

Church Covenant Church CovenantHaving been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, we do now in the presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ. We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love, to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality, to sustain its worship, ordinances disciple, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.We also engage to maintain family and secret devotions, to religiously educate our children, to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world, to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements. and exemplary in our deportment, to avoid all things tattling, backbiting and excessive anger, to abstain from he sale and us of intoxicating drinks as a beverage, to be zealous in or efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior. We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love, to remember one another in prayer, to aid one another in sickness and distress, to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech, to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay.We moreover engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, until the some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's word.

Gods Will God's WillHave You ever wondered what God's will is for your life? If you are a Christian, God's will is: If you have been saved, but are not living for the Lord, His will Is: For you to confess your sins and receive his forgiveness. (John 1:9) That you grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:18) That you bear much fruit. (John 15:8) Live your life in such a way that it will point others to Christ. For you to return to him. (Isaiah 55:7) If you have never been saved, The Lord's will is for you to be saved! The Lord does not want you to die lost. (2Peter 3:9)The Lord wants you to ask him to forgive you of your sins and to come into your heart and be your savior. ( Romans 10: 13) The Lord wants you to believe in His son Jesus. (John 3:16)

History

Our History

With written records dating back to 1904, it is safe to say that this church has been a spiritual influence in this area for 100 years or more. The church has experienced a lot of the blessings of the Lord over this long period of time and is still being blessed.

Through it's youth ministry and it's senior citizen ministry, the church hopes to minister to people of all age brackets.

Not only does the church have a desire to be a spiritual influence in this area, but also through our prayers and financial support of missions, we hope to help carry out the great commission of getting the Gospel to all the people of the world.

A recent church profile showed our total membership to be 335 and our resident membership to be 175
